These chisel covers are printed useing a 3D printer. They are made out of ABS filament. It is the most commonly used 3D printing plastics. It is used in the bodywork of cars, appliances, and mobile phone cases AND chisel sheaths. It is a thermoplastic which contains a base of elastomers based on polybutadiene, making it more flexible, and resistant to shocks.
We had these designed for the Robert Sorby Framing Chisels and they fit the MHG Messerschmidt Chisels as well.
