A kensaki (triangle tip) knife is a smaIl marking knife used to draw fine lines. It is also used for carving wood. The blade is beveled on one side only.

Baishinshi is a brand produced by a blacksmithing family who has been forging carving knives and chisels for more than 250 years. Currently the 7th generation took over as "Baishinshi Kunimitsu", the family blacksmith name.
