Bevelled Framing Chisel
This beautifully designed and manufactured chisel is hand-forged in a process developed at the turn of the century, with handle set in a sleeve. The steel has a Rockwell hardness of 61 HRC along the entire length.
We introduced this line of chisels to our professional framers and have found it to be on par in quality and performance with the other chisels we carry. It is a pleasure to use and to sharpen.
If you have watched our Tool Selection Video on YouTube, you know that you can get away with just a 1-1/2-in chisel. We stock all three sizes of the MHG chisel and you can purchase a set of three with a wooden box. If you already bought an MHG chisel, you can purchase the box to keep them safe!
