This favorite is made by Opinel and very appropiately a French company making a bread knife. There is plenty of opportunity to use a bread knife in France (unless you are like me and you can't wait to cut the bread so simply tear into it because it is so delicous). Good for cutting all types of bread, the curve of the 8' blade makes for an easy cutting motion. The superior quality of the teeth makes for optimal cutting of slices. Light weight and ergonomic, the beech wood handle provides a perfect grip.
